[24p-D315-3] Background-free Correlation Spectroscopy using Infrared Mode-locked Laser
Keywords:spectroscopy
In infrared spectroscopy, the use of mode-locked laser instead of thermal sources is expected to enable new spectroscopic measurements to take advantage of their properties. One such measurement is the use of destructive interference of light to cancel out background light and extract small changes in the photoelectronic change. In this presentation, we propose and demonstrate a new spectroscopic method in which spectrum of infrared laser is modulated according to absorption lines of molecules, and high sensitivity will be achieved through spectral correlation.
