[24p-D316-11] Materials synthesis using anisotropic ion diffusion control under high pressure

A synthesis process that can control temperature, pressure, and voltage at the same time has been developed using a cubic multi-anvil apparatus. In this study, we used this process to control the diffusion of weakly bound ion species in compounds and synthesized thermodynamically metastable compounds using ion extraction, introduction, and substitution reactions between solids. In our presentation, a few polycrystalline metastable compounds will be introduced.
