[24p-E102-8] Electronic properties of C₆₀ thin films under an external electric field

Based on the density functional theory with the effective screening medium method, we investigated the electronic structures of C60 molecular thin films under the external electric field in terms of molecular arrangment and structures. Our calculations demonstrated that the field screening ability and carriers accumulation by the field strongly depend on the molecular arrangment and structure.
