In order to avoid the problem caused by the difference in thermal expansion coefficient between devices, which is a concern in high temperature thermoelectric power generation, it is desirable to fabricate pn devices in the same matrix phase. In this work, we focused on Nd1-xSrxFeO3-δ and tried to develop both pn and n-type thermoelectric performance by controlling the spin state of Fe3+. p-type thermoelectric performance was confirmed for x≤0.5 and n-type thermoelectric performance for x≥0.6, which will be discussed in terms of crystal structure, thermoelectric and magnetic properties in this talk.
