2D/3D heterostructures composed of obliquely oriented 2D perovskites stacked on 3D perovskites are expected to realize solar cells with both stability and high efficiency. However, in conventional 2D/3D heterostructures, obliquely oriented 2D perovskites are partially mixed with horizontally oriented 2D perovskites. In this study, we succeeded in improving the orientation of 2D perovskites by introducing Dion-Jacobson 2D perovskites onto 3D perovskites.
