[24p-E301-7] Consideration on SDGs and Physics Education Based on Experience of Engineer Education and Energy and Environmental Education

Keywords:energy and envirounmental education, SDGs, thermodymamics

In a general education class "Heat and Energy in Daily Life", the author deal with SDGS, and thermodynamics without using mathematical formulas which can be understood by students who are not good at science. Understanding the laws of physics, especially the second law of thermodynamics, is important in considering the SDGs. The manner of the explanation for physical laws and application to environmental problems concerned with SDGs in the class are introduced. The problem in physics classes using mathematical formulas, in which the ability to understand physical phenomena insufficiently, was also considered, and the improvement methods were discussed.
