[24p-E307-9] Preparation of an Organic Conductive Material with Bagworm Silk and Application for Devices

〇(DC)Kyoka Komaba1, Hiromasa Goto1 (1.Univ. Tsukuba)

Keywords:bagworm silk, electrochemical transistors, conductive polymers

A bio/synthetic composite material was prepared and evaluated by composing with both polyaniline as a conductive polymer and bagworm silk as a high-performance natural silk. Furthermore, the electrochemical transistor with this composite was prepared and evaluated swtiching properties. Silk collected from bagworms is reported to surpass spider silk, which has been considered to be the strongest in terms of elastic modulus, breaking strength, and toughness.
