[24p-F308-6] Synthesis of iron-fullerene complex ions in an electron cyclotron resonance ion source

An attempt was made to generate a composite ion of fullerene and iron in an electron cyclotron resonance ion source (ECRIS). And iron-fullerene composite ion ([Fe-C 55]+,[Fe-C56]+)Was irradiated on the Si single crystal substrate, and then elemental analysis was performed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). As a result, a clear Fe (2p) spectrum was observed. Furthermore, due to the sharp shape of the Fe (2p) spectrum, the generated complex ion may contain iron atoms.
