[25a-E205-6] Carrier Transport Properties and Bar-coated Thin Film Fabrication of Non-peripheral Butyl-substituted Phthalocyanine

In this study, single crystal structure analysis and charge transport simulation between two neighboring molecules of butyl-substituted phthalocyanine (C4PcH2) were carried out. As a result of the simulation, high carrier mobility in the column axial direction was calculated, which is a better carrier transport property than that of hexyl substituted phthalocyanine (C6PcH2). Furthermore, C4PcH2 thin films were prepared by bar coating method. We investigated the molecular orientation and crystal structure of the films by X-ray diffraction, and fabricated MOSFET devices to evaluate the field-effect mobility.
