Recently, it has become clear that the nanometer-order pillar structure on the surface of the wings of cicadas and dragonflies has bactericidal properties, and is expected to be a new antimicrobial material. In this study, we fabricated resin nanopillars on a resin film to mimic the nanostructure of cicadas. In this study, we fabricated resin nanopillars by mimicking the nanostructure of cicadas on a resin film. We conducted sterilization tests by changing the shape of the fabricated nanopillars and analyzed the effect of the shape of the nanopillars on the bactericidal activity.
