[25p-D215-6] Novel Structures of Conduction Cooling Active-Mirror Amplifier at Low-Temperature
Keywords:high average power laser
In order to achieve the next-generation high-repetition power laser, we investigated novel structures of the heat sink of the conduction-cooled active-mirror amplifier at low temperature. In conduction cooling active-mirror amplifier, the problem is the deformation of the gain medium caused by the difference in the coefficient of thermal expansion between the gain medium and the heat-sink during cooling. In this presentation, heat-sinks are classified by the thermal deformation suppression method, and two novel types of heat-sink structures that reduce thermal deformation are shown for heat-sink structures that use copper as a heat-sink.
