[25p-E201-5] Magnonics as a green innovation principle

Magnonics aims for new information processor which can realize both low-energy consumption and fast-speed operation (beyond-CMOS computing). So far, magnonics proposed several device elements such as magnon transistor, magnon logic, and magnon switch. The magnonic device uses the spin-wave resonance as the carrier frequency and can be applied for GHz-THz operation by choosing appropriate magnonic medium. However, small on/off ratio of spin-waves have been major obstacles to implementation of magnonic devices for practical use. In this study, we show recent research to overcome these major issues.
