In order to improve the photovoltaic properties of non-fullerene solar cells based on benzodithiophene-alkoxy-substituted anthrabisthiadiazole (ATz) copolymers, new ATz-based polymers with chlorine atoms were synthesized. Furthermore, we evaluated the effect of chlorine atoms on the physicochemical properties, thin-film structure, and photovoltaic properties of non-fullerene solar cells.
