光周波数コムは精密な光周波数基準である「光のものさし」として発展してきたが、光のあらゆる性質を自在に制御・操作するツール「光シンセサイザ」として用いることによって、広範な応用可能性が生まれる。本講演では、光周波数コムの持つ多次元性・広ダイナミックレンジ・自在な制御性を活かすことによって可能となる多彩な応用として、高速・高精度・広範囲のイメージング技術や、適用性の極めて広い分光技術研究を紹介する。
