Stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) microscopy enables rapid chemical imaging. One of the bottlenecks preventing the commoditization of the microscopy is the requirement of a low-noise laser source for multiple wavenumber pulses of which emission timing is matched. White pulse generation by a photonic crystal fiber is one of the most simple, robust, and low-cost solutions for the multiple wavenumber pulses. However, the white pulse as it is accompanies formidable noise and is not suitable for SRS microscopy. In this study, we demonstrate the elimination of the bottleneck in SRS microscopy by applying the spectral noise cancellation method robust to the transmittance change of the sample.
