[25p-F308-9] Analysis of anthropogenic iodine-129 in Antarctic ice core

Time course profile of anthropogenic iodine 129 in Antarctic ice core was analyzed by means of Accelerator Mass Spectrometry. Clear signals due to the atmospheric nuclear weapons testing conducted in 1950's and 1960' were observed. On the other hand, the effect of spent nuclear fuel reprocessing plants was not observed after 1970's.
