A Tb: Sr2Gd8(SiO4)6O2 has a quite long scintillation decay time of millisecond order. So far, there is no evaluation system of scintillation light yield for so slow scintillators. In this study, we constructed a new evaluation system of scintillation light yield of millisecond order decay scintillators and evaluated the light yield of Tb:Sr2Gd8(SiO4)6O2 scintillator.
