[25p-P08-1] Development of Speckle Noise Reduction Mechanism in SD-OCT at 1.7 um Wavelength

Our research group has developed SD-OCT using an SC light source with a wavelength of 1.7 µm, and succeeded in observing 1.8 mm depth. However, due to speckle noise, which is intrinsic to imaging using optical interferometry, the high spatial resolution of a few µm has not been fully exploited. In this study, we developed a 1.7 µm SD-OCT with a speckle noise suppression mechanism, aiming to realize high spatial resolution observation of deep biological structures.
