[26a-E101-6] Performance of Millimeter-wave absorber using dielectric metamaterials near 76GHz

Dielectric metamaterials, which have characteristics of simpler structure in the metamaterial system, was paid attention for candidates for microwave absorber in the high frequency range, such as millimeter waves. A prototype of microwave absorber using the dielectric metamaterial was made and evaluated its ability around 76 GHz, which is considered to be used for automotive radar. We found that absorption near 76GHz was realized by the sample thickness around 0.14mm, which was thinner than that of the previous studies.
