When using a lens, appropriate lens design is essential because various aberrations adversely affect the imaging characteristics. In particular, the correction of chromatic aberration in polarized Fresnel lenses is an extremely important issue for applications. In this study, we attempted to design a polarized Fresnel lens with corrected chromatic aberration by using optimization calculation in genetic algorithm. The ability of the designed polarized Fresnel lens to correct the chromatic aberration was verified by simulation and experiment.
