The phase measurement method based on the transport of intensity equation calculates the phase image of object from multiple intensity images with different distances from the object. It is generally difficult to apply to moving objects because these images are recorded sequentially. We have proposed a parallel TIE method (PTIE) that records these images simultaneously. In this study, we experimentally verified single-shot phase imaging by the PTIE method. We constructed the experimental system carrying out the PTIE system by using an optical system and a polarizing imaging camera. We measured the phase values of the light beam, emitted from a light emitting diode, passing through a convex lens. The experimental results well agree with the numerical result. Thus, the PTIE method was successfully verified.
