Mass spectrometry imaging (MSI) is an analytical method to measure the multi-components distributed in a sample. Tapping-mode scanning probe electrospray ionization (t-SPESI) realizes the direct extraction and ionization using vibrating capillary probe and pico-liter solvent, thus it is used for MSI of biological sample. To improve the spatial resolution of MSI, the understanding of probe vibration is necessary. We report the force curve analysis to study the changes of vibration amplitude and phase.
