Hybrid wireless optical power and data transmission system has been designed and developed using 980 nm and 850 nm laser, respectively. Dichroic mirrors are used to combine and divide the axes of propagation of laser beams at the transmitter and receiver sides. Around 1 W optical power and 1 GHz data transmission has been demonstrated in this system with a transmission distance of 2 meters.
