LED-based optical wireless power transmission (OWPT) system has been developed a lot and are considered as a possible solution for remote power transmission. A 3-LED-array OWPT system based on the collimation scheme achieved 500 mW level electricity output at 1 m. However, in the collimation scheme, the output of LEDs array has a saturation value under the same condition of the optical receiver and imaging lens. In this research, the maximum output of LED-OWPT will be numerically analysed.
