LiDAR has come to be widely used in automobiles and robots. It is often covered with a transparent cover for the purpose of protecting LiDAR. In LiDAR using a laser, the optical characteristics of the transparent cover (optical window) are considered to affect the acquired information (distance distribution). Therefore, we investigated the effect of the transmittance of the LiDAR optical window on the acquired information.
