[26p-E303-10] Comparison of light propagation in distorted photonic crystals which have rotated elliptical lattice points based on differtnt lattice arragement

We have reported the curve of light waves in a photonic crystal (PC) with a gradual spatial structural change in its lattice points (Distorted PC : DPC). In this study, we have studied the light propagation in a DPC with rotated elliptical lattice points based on a triangular lattice arrangement, in addition to a DPC based on square lattice arrangement we have reported before. We got the result that direction of light wave propagation with frequency 0.1 c/a (c is speed of light, a is lattice constant) in DPCs were same between those two basic lattice arrangements, however with a frequency 0.2 c/a were different.
