△ [15a-B414-2] Fabrication and Training of 3D Conductive Polymer Networks for Neuromorphic Wetware
Keywords:synaptic device, conductive polymer, neuromorphic hardware
Structures of conventional neuromorphic hardware are quite far from the 3D structures of the brain resulting in inefficiency of implementing models with local connections such as CNNs. In this study, we developed 3D memristive devices using conductive polymer (PEDOT:PSS) wires that polymerize and grow three-dimensionally in liquid space like axon guidance. We also succeeded in implementing biomimetic learning on the device and showed the feasibility of neuromorphic wetware more faithfully reflecting the 3D local connections in the brain.
