Transparent electrodes based on carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are expected to replace ITO substrates in creating organic devices with CNT-based transparent electrodes, carrier injection from transparent electrodes to organic semiconductors needs to be discussed. In this experiment, we attempted to measure the electronic state at the Alq3/MWCNTs interface during the application of a strong electric field, close to the device operation, by simultaneously measuring field emission and photoemission of Alq3, an organic EL material, pattern deposited on a Si substrate on which Multi-walled CNTs were vertically grown.
