[15a-PA01-4] Fabrication of iron-filled carbon nanotube/cellulose nanofiber composite sheet
Keywords:Iron-filled carbon nanotube, Cellulose nanofiber
Iron-filled carbon nanotubes (Fe@CNT) possess excellent ferromagnetic property originating from Fe nanowires encapsulated in the CNTs. On the other hand, cellulose nanofibers (CNFs), which are made from pulp, have attracted much attention because of those excellent mechanical characteristics with light weight. In this study, we attempted to fabricate paper-thin composite sheets of Fe@CNT and CNF. We successfully fabricated Fe@CNT/CNF composite sheets that shows clear magnetization. It is expected that these sheets can be applied to flexible magnetic shield, flexible magnet and so on.
