We present an air-cooled Nd:YAG/Cr⁴⁺:YAG microchip laser with unstable resonator generating record peak-powers of 71.9 MW (22.54 mJ, 313.5 ps) and 82.8 MW (26 mJ, 314 ps) at 100 and 80 Hz respectively.
