[15p-A410-4] Virus Detection by Integrated Graphene FET(1)

Sensitive and rapid detection of highly pathogenic viruses become important issue. We have successfully detected the new coronavirus by utilizing the high-sensitivity characteristics of graphene FETs. We have developed a system in which 32 graphene FETs are attached to microTAS, and a phosphate buffer solution flows in, flows through the FET channel, and flows out from the left. Using this system, we observed changes in the Dirac Point before and after virus introduction, and successfully detected the virus. Furthermore, we enabled SEM observation of viruses on graphene FETs, and found that the change in Dirac Point was almost proportional to the number of viruses on graphene FETs. As a result, it was confirmed that the system was measuring the charge of the virus, and the novel coronavirus was successfully detected.
