We prepared a poly(3,4-ethylene dioxythiophene) (PEDOT) with p-toluenesulfonic acid (PTSA) supported on PET fiber during polymerization to evaluate thermoelectric properties. As a result, the Seebeck coefficient was two orders of magnitude higher than that of the PEDOT on flat glass and commercial PEDOT:PSS. Comparison of Raman spectra revealed significant molecular distortion in the PEDOT with large Seebeck coefficients.
