Understanding the bending behavior of polymer films is essential for the development of flexible devices. However, the relation between polymer main chain behavior and bending strain remains unclear. In previous work, we have developed a method that can measure bending strain in polymer films. In this study, we analyzed the effect of strain on polymer main chain behavior in bending polymer films by using the developed method and photoelastic method.
