[15p-E302-6] Theory of THz Phase Dynamics of Intrinsic Josephson Junction
in High Temperature Superconductors

Keywords:Superconductor, Josephson junction, finite element method

Intrinsic Josephson junction in a cuprate High-Tc superconductor is expected to be a source of THz emission. To analyze mechanism of the THz oscillation, we solve the extended Josephson relations and Maxwell equations using the finite element method. We show this simulation method and numerical results for voltage transition and THz oscillations.
