Luminescent radicals, novel luminescent materials in OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode), have attracted much attention. Luminescent radicals are ground doublets and can theoretically use 100% internal quantum efficiency in the electrical excitation process. However, the improvement of photostability is not sufficient. In this study, we report the creation of a luminescent radical with high photostability and its application to OLEDs.
