We have been studying on improving the efficiency of Cu(In,Ga)Se2 (CIGSe) thin-film solar cells focusing on the buffer/absorber interface to reduce the interface recombination. In this talk, I will report the characteristics of the heterojunction interface for highly efficient solar cells and the results of our recent achievements on these subjects.
