[15p-E502-7] Characterization of Electronic Structure of Compound Semiconductor-based Solar Cells

In solar cells with functional layers made of multi-component compound semiconductors whose electronic structure varies depending on the crystal phase and composition, the electronic structure profile has been optimized to achieve high performance by utilizing this variability. In this talk, exprimantally determined depth-directional profile of electronic structures and electronic activity of grain boundariy of such cells using absorbers, such as Cu(In,Ga)(S,Se)2 [CIGSSe], Cu2Zn(Ge,Sn)(S,Se)4 [CZGTSSe] are reviewed.
