▲ [15p-PA01-29] Spin injection based on spin pumping in microfabricated ferromagnetic metal/nonmagnetic semiconductor junctions
Keywords:spin injection, semiconductor, magnetization dynamics
This study investigates the injection of spin current in microfabricated ferromagnetic metal/nonmagnetic semiconductor junctions by mean of spin pumping, which is the first step to develop devices using electron spin wave for new parallel computing technology using semiconductors. In this study, microfabricated devices were built using CoFe alloy as ferromagnetic material for the electrode and GaAs and doped GaAs as semiconductor layers. The spin injection with conventional non-local spin valve technique was investigated. Also, the injection electrode used for spin pumping exhibits magnetization dynamics excitation with ferromagnetic resonance measurement, enabling spin pumping. Inverse spin Hall effect is investigated as a spin detection technique.
