Semiconductor nanowires [1] are functional materials with one-dimensional structures, and are expected to have various applications such as nanolasers. We fabricated hollow-core (HC) nanowires using the sublimation method [2] for the first time, and realized laser oscillation while standing upright on the substrate [3]. The feature of this structure is that by adjusting the diameter of the nanowire and the size of the internal hole, the donuts-shape electric field becomes the fundamental mode, enabling vector beam emission. In this work, we report on the properties of vector beams from hollow nanowires.
