In this study, we developed a high-speed deformable mirror that can correct wavefront disturbances caused by atmospheric fluctuations and verified its operating characteristics for application to long-distance laser transmission technology. As a result, it was clarified that high-order (fourth-order) Zernike wavefront generation and high-speed control at a control speed of 10 kHz are possible.
