[16a-A305-4] Self-Pulsation Characteristics of a Blue-Diode-Pumped Alexandrite Laser

Continuous-wave (CW) and self-pulsation characteristics of a blue-diode-pumped alexandrite laser was experimentally investigated. Output powers of 0.252 and 0.185 W were obtained in the CW and self-pulsation modes, respectively. Further investigation of the pulse-to-pulse stability in the self-pulsation mode is ongoing.
