[16a-A307-2] Evaluation of nano-structured LSPR platform and lipid membranes for α-synuclein detection
Keywords:LSPR, alpha-synuclein
α-synuclein is an amyloid protein thought to be a causative agent of Parkinson's disease (PD). We have developed a new sensor technique using LSPR (Localized Surface Plasmon Resonance) technology for early diagnosis of PD. In addition, we evaluated lipid membranes immobilized on Au as sensing molecules in the measurement of target proteins. As a result, a characteristic absorption peak at a wavelength of around 650 nm was confirmed. We plan to increase the sensitivity of the sensor by considering its Au nanostructure and effective properties of the lipid membrane for α-synuclein detection.
