Nowadays machine learning has been intensively studied to extract meaningful information from huge quantity of data. One of such techniques is reservoir computing based on silicon photonics. Multimode (MM) waveguides generating complex speckle patterns and a MM loop structure enhancing memory performance have been proposed. In this paper, we propose a silicon MM racetrack loop to attain mode mixing with low loss couplings, large memory ability and small device footprint.
