We have previously increased the capacitance and improved the output of the triboelectric generator by mixing TiO2 particles with a high dielectric constant into the polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) film. Although the output power increased with increasing content of high-k materials in the PDMS composite film, the output suddenly decreased when the content exceeded a certain value. To clarify the reason for the drop in output due to the excessive amount of embedding, we examined the surface structure using a scanning electron microscope (SEM). Based on the results, we fabricated an asymmetric TiO2/PDMS composite film to solve the problem.
