[16a-D505-1] A simplified synthesis method of small photoelastic tin phosphate glasses

A tin phosphate glass, which has a marked small photoelasticity, is designed for an optical devise. However, due to complicated process, the synthesis method was far from an industry use. In this talk, we propose a new melting method in air that makes easier to fabricate a small photoelastic oxide glass by utilizing a new starting material.
