[16a-E502-10] Ultrafast polarization-resolved NIR luminescence spectroscopy of gold nanoparticles

We will present ultrafast near-infrared luminescence phenomena of plasmonic Au nanoparticles. Our previous study reported that the Au nanoparticles exhibited near-infrared luminescence phenomena when we photo-excited them on the surface plasmon resonance conditions. We found that photo-luminescence was polarized in the oscillation direction of the surface plasmon polarizations. We will also discuss the particle-shape and particle size dependent “polarization memory” effect.
