[16a-PA02-2] Quantitative Evaluation of Multi-Focus Using Phase-Type Diffractive Optical Elements

Generally, the image obtained from a single image capture is a single image corresponding to the focal position of the optical system, but there is a technique that uses diffractive optical elements to simultaneously acquire images at multiple positions on the optical axis. We focused on this technique and verified its usefulness through quantitative evaluation by simulation and experiment. We also clarified that the fineness of the diffractive optical elements affects the quantitative performance and demonstrated the possibility of further improving the quantitative performance.
