[16a-PA02-5] Real-Time Remote 3D Display of Real-Existing Objects by Fast Hologram Calculation Based on 3D FFT

A holographic 3D display has been getting attention along with virtual reality and augmented reality. However, to put it into practical use, a problem of the long calculation time must be solved. Previously, we proposed a fast calculation method for 3D objects consisting of textures and depth maps based on the diffraction calculation using 3D Fourier transform. In this study, we demonstrated real-time calculation and reconstruction of holograms for real-existing objects.
