Keywords:optical vortex

In our previous work, spatially modulated superconductivity (SC) was demonstrated in a high-Tc cuprate Bi2212 by quenching the SC with intense and ultrafast optical vortex (OV) pulses. Such OV-induced SC can be easily scanned in space by moving the singular point. In this work, we report on the spatio-temporal characteristics of OV-induced SC by taking advantage of the scanning property.
