Metasurfaces have realized intriguing optical functions such as control of wavesurface and multi-wavelength ray control, and are widely knows as a new class of optical materials. The constituting materials are a diverse range from metals to dielectrics. In this presentation, we describe development of metasurfaces towards optical sensors, in particular fluorescence biosensors, and address scope in the future.
